Dierberg and Star Lane Vineyards

Star Lane Winery was established in the Happy Canyon AVA of Santa Barbara in 1990's as a result of long time search for a suitable site to produce premium bordeaux style wines. The region's unique east-west orientation is due to the transverse mountain ranges which allow cold air from the ocean to flow inland, providing cooling influences. Star Lane vineyard situated in a valley, it is divided into 50+ blocks depending on soil type and microclimates. It's called "vineyards within a vineyard".
