Gary Pisoni evoked a passion for wine and revolutionized how people perceived wine in the Santa Lucia Highlands. His 1982 planting in the unlikely terrain of his mountain vineyard was abound with first, hurdles, and naysayers—until he planted his proprietary selection of Pinot Noir grapes, discovered water and began producing world-renown wines. Pisoni Family Vineyards is managed by brothers Mark and Jeff. Together they carry out their family’s long-term vision of sustainable farming and crafting exceptional wine. The family produces wine under three labels: Pisoni, Lucia by Pisoni, and Lucy.
