You won't find anyone on this planet with a greater passion for cool climate white wines from the San Luis Obispo Coast than John Niven. His roots go back over 50 years to his grandfather's pioneering plantings. John has been at the forefront of the California cool climate Sauvignon Blanc movement & played a pivotal role in bringing Albariño & Grüner Veltliner to prominence in California in the 2000’s. He truly believes the San Luis Obispo Coast is a gem of an AVA for white wine varietals & deserves to be included in the broader conversation as one of the great white wine regions of the world.
