Handley Cellars

Handley Cellars was established by Milla Handley, a trailblazing figure in the American winemaking scene and one of the first female vintners in the USA. Recognized as the "Pioneer Queen" of Anderson Valley, she played a pivotal role in drawing attention to this distinctive viticultural area within Mendocino County. Since 2005, Handley Cellars oversees their 28.8 acres of Certified Organic Estate Vineyards and more than 75% of the winery's operations is powered by solar electricity. Milla's daughter, Lulu Handley shines as an example of female ownership and leadership in the wine industry.
