Description
Nose - Cherry cobbler, lightly buttered toast, vanilla, red licorice, a whiff of sweet cigar. Palate - Blackberry, vanilla and brown spice. Bright and lively with round fruit flavors, plush tannins and an expansive texture. This wine is named after Jenny Wagner's great-great grandfather, Johannes Glos, who came to Napa in the 1880s. He often traveled by foot, thus earning his affectionate nickname. Produced from Suisun Valley, a remarkable AVA that has become the Wagner family's second home. A short drive from Napa, Suisun has ideal soils and climate for a variety of grapes.
