Description
The 2021 Ancient Vines Zinfandel has an array of aromas including bright strawberry, cherry, elderberry, dried rose petals, vanilla, and caramel. Ripe strawberry, raspberry, cherry, orange zest, cedar, mocha and vanilla flavors with a balanced and juicy acidity create this rich and complex vintage. Aging on 40% new French oak and used oak for 15 months has lent this wine a subtle vanilla and cedar quality that nicely complements the explosive fruit notes. Enjoy now or cellar for 5 to 7 years.
