G&C Lurton Merlot 2016

The vineyard is farmed with organic pratices. The wine was aged 12 months in French Oak barrels sourced from the finest forests of central France. 15% new barrels. The wine is remarkable for its very intense aromas. The nose gathers some fresh red current while preserving a rich, deep color. On the palate, there is a balance between freshness and power. This wine is voluptuous and smooth with finely textured tannnins, a medium to full-bodied mouth feel and a long finish with undertones of vanilla subtly brought bt the fine toasted oak.
