Newfound Gravels Red Wine 2021

Gravels is our California appellated bottling, sourced from sites planted on a well-drained base of gravelly soil.  It’s a wine built to over-deliver while also providing an important snapshot for Newfound’s overall production from each given vintage.  In 2021, the Cemetery Vineyard in Mendocino County provided the largest component of the final wine (66%) and was blended together with a smaller portion of Grenache from the Placida Vineyard (20%), Mt. Veeder Counoise (10%) and Shake Ridge Syrah (4%).
