Charles Krug Family Reserve Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon 2019

Rising 1,650 feet above the Napa Valley floor on the southwest side of Howell Mountain, the Mondavi family estate vineyard producing the grapes for this wine sits above the fog line during the growing season. This wine displays aromas of subtle toffee, flint, savory dark caramel, coffee with cream, toasty oak, smoked paprika, black cherry and black fruit on the nose. It is full-bodied with firm tannins yet offers soft supple layers of espresso, toast, mocha, concentrated berries, and vanilla. The finish ends with well-integrated oak.
