Irus Zinfandel 2021

This wine immediately lures us with its rich color and good intensity of fruit aromas. The pretty, bright fruit on the nose is a nice integration of chocolate- covered cherries, with hints of vanilla, black pepper, and a luscious mix of mature red berries. On the palate, the flavors add to the aromas with cedar notes, fennel, and touch of red licorice. The mouth feel has good weight across the palate with a solid medium plus structure, and a rich enjoyable finish.
