Linda Vista Vineyard Chardonnay, Oak Knoll District of Napa Valley 2020

Linda Vista Vineyard is situated in the Oak Knoll District's cooler southwestern region, on a site with silty loam soil. Originally planted by the Beringer family over 25 years ago, Steve Matthiasson now tends the vineyard and is CCOF-certified. This Olmo clone Chardonnay consistently exhibits distinctively high acidity and citrus characteristics further accentuated by fermentation and barrel aging with light-toasted French oak. The resulting wine boasts a toasted hazelnut aroma and a supple mouthfeel, with an excellent balance in the finish.
