Alder Springs Vineyard Chardonnay, Mendocino County 2021

Nestled atop a picturesque high-altitude terrain, the vineyard boasts of Stuart Bewley, a highly regarded grower, who has meticulously cultivated over 40 grape varieties across 140 areas of a sprawling, 6,000-acre ranch. He spared us beautiful French clones 76 and 95 Chardonnays from his cool climate site, which is evident in its unique characteristics. It has layered aromas of white flowers, tangerine zest, and Anjou pear, with a taste of toasted marshmallow and a subtle hint of fine granite. Its acidity lingers in the mouth, with the taste of granny smith apple and fresh lime.
